Την Τρίτη 29/3/ 2022, μαθητές του σχολείου, στο πλαίσιο του πολιτιστικού προγράμματος «Οι Εβραίοι της Θεσσαλονίκης : Ζωή και Μνήμη», επισκέφθηκαν το Εργατοϋπαλληλικό Κέντρο Θεσσαλονίκης, τη Συναγωγή των Μοναστηριωτών και γειτονιές του Κέντρου της πόλης για μία σύντομη γνωριμία με την ιστορία, την παρουσία και τη δραστηριότητα της ακμαίας εβραϊκής κοινότητας πριν το Ολοκαύτωμα.

Την Πέμπτη 10/03/2022 τα τμήματα Α1 και Β4 του σχολείου μας, παρακολούθησαν τη Διαδικτυακή εκδήλωση
«Αλλάζοντας συμπεριφορές, αλλάζουμε το μέλλον» , στο πλαίσιο των προγραμμάτων περιβαλλοντικής εκπαίδευσης που υλοποιούν.
eTwinning Project – Biography of Salomon Yeni
Students from all over the school are participating in an eTwinning project. The main theme of the project is to find information about a Greek Jewish man called Solomon Yeni. We already know that he was born and raised in Thessaloniki from 1905 to 1933, when he moved to France. During the 2nd World War he was forced by German Nazi soldiers to board a train ( Convoi 77 ) to Auschwitz where his life came to an end. Since he lived a long period of his life in France, we are cooperating with a French school to discover more about the story of his life.
In doing so, we also learn about the astonishing and turbulent history of our city, Thessaloniki, the diversity of its population and especially the presence of the vibrant Jewish community.

Στις 25 Φεβρουαρίου 2022 ολοκληρώνεται το Ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα eTwinning “DIVE INTO AMAZING WORLD OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE” στο οποίο συμμετείχαν μαθητές των τμημάτων Β2 και Α2 του σχολείου μας.
Οι μαθητές ήρθαν σε επαφή με τον εκπληκτικό κόσμο της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης και συμμετείχαν σε συνεργατικές δραστηριότητες με μαθητές από διάφορες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες.

The last meeting of the teachers and students participating in the program “Dive into amazing world of artificial intelligence” took place on January 27,2022.
At the meeting, the magazines created by the students in mixed teams were presented and a crossword puzzle related to artificial intelligence was given.

We are used to sorting our waste: papers, plastics, household waste etc.
Do we really know what is the outcome of our waste? What are waste treatment or recycling procedures according to the kind of waste? Is waste management the same in all European countries?
First of all ,the students will research waste treatment and waste recycling in their city and/or country. They will exchange with partners on how it’s done in their countries.
Then, they will study the waste management of their own school, and propose ways to improve it
The project will introduce students to the big 21’st century changes that technologies will bring into their lives. New generation has to learn to live with technologies and devices that will become smarter day by day, with devices that will make many decisions for themselves, devices that will communicate with other devices without our involvement, professions where humans will be replaced by machines, robots with artificial intelligence. There will be a technological, social and moral revolution. Automatization and robotics, smart devices, coding, artificial intelligence are some of the topics that our students will investigate with collaborative activities.

DITOL NQLΜόλις απονεμήθηκε στο 1ο ΓΕΛ Ωραιοκάστρου η eTwinning Ετικέτα Ποιότητας για το έργο DigiTALE of Life που υλοποιήθηκε με μαθητές και μαθήτριες του Α4 και Α5, κατά την σχολική χρονιά 2020-21.
Σύμφωνα με την αξιολόγηση που δέχθηκε το εν λόγω project:
Πρόκειται για ένα εξαιρετικά ενδιαφέρον έργο που πραγματεύεται το επίκαιρο θέμα της ψηφιοποίησης και τους τρόπους με τους οποίους μετασχηματίζονται οι διαφορετικοί τομείς της ζωής μας. Θετικά στοιχεία:
Πολλές ευχές για ακόμα μεγαλύτερες επιτυχίες!
